A picture of two brothers on a farm in Arkansas during the Depression. The young boy on the right would grow up to be an American legend - Johnny Cash.

The boy on the left is his brother Jack, two years older. The two were very close and Johnny was heartbroken when, aged only 15 Jack died tragically.

He was cutting wood when a dreadful accident occurred and he he was pulled onto a table saw, badly hurting him.

He survived for a few days before dying. Jack had been religious and, some say, was destined to be a preacher.

While on his death bed he spoke of seeing angels. On the day of Jack’s funeral Johnny went to the grave site in order to help with the digging of the grave
