Jewish babies and little kids were sadly seen as 'useless eaters' by the Nazis because they couldn't work and were thought to serve no purpose.
The Nazis were afraid that if these babies and kids survived, they might seek revenge against the Germans later on.
They worried about the safety of German children because of this fear.
Also, many Nazis were Catholic and believed in keeping families together, which influenced their decisions.
The Nazis thought these young children wouldn't be able to take care of themselves without their parents.
The Nazis decided to kill Jewish babies and kids because they thought taking care of them would be too much trouble for the state. This didn't fit Hitler's plan of having a Europe without Jews.
So, they had to be gotten rid of alongside their parents as part of the Nazi plan.
This was important for the Nazis' goal of making the areas they conquered more German, especially in the East and West.
Starvation was one way they killed Jewish babies and kids, but they also shot them, did medical experiments on them, and even gassed them.
The Nazis thought these ways were better for getting rid of what they saw as dangers to their thousand-year Reich.
Sadly, Jewish babies and children suffered the same terrible fate as their parents during the Holocaust
